I wanted to take this opportunity to tell y'all a little bit more about us. We are a handful of #appalachianqueers who are friends of the late #brynkelly. Since her teens, Bryn talked about making a zine about #queerappalachia. This project is a space for community to come together to make the zine a reality while we celebrate her life & spirit. We share responsibilities equally, my name is Mamone and I curate our insta. This is a picture of Bryn & I at the very first #gayoleopry in Brooklyn. Thank you for tagging us in pics and letting us share your beautiful images with each other. Rural queers can be so isolated, sometimes the only community people have without driving several hours is online. Since Wednesday morning we've gotten hundreds of messages here and on Facebook from folks that are scared to death about surviving not just the next four years, but the upcoming holidays with family that just voted not only to have their rights, but also their safety taken away. This resource is the best that I have seen by far, it is put together by a personal friend of mine that has a beautiful big heart for community & that I think very highly of. I encourage you to check it out & share! http://www.theworldisaterribleplace.com/ohcrap/ photo by @SydLondon #resistancefromexistence #ourmountainstoo #yallmeansall
