A graphic with text which reads "reposted: Cis women and afab trans people who care about trans women, if you are still able to access this when the dust settles, please consider getting a Rx for estradiol-only birth control, not for yourselves (unless that's what you use) but as a way to help the many trans women who are going to lose their hormones.
Anyone who can get an Rx for it, please consider getting spironolactone for 'acne' or for your 'blood pressure.'
Most trans women who take these for HRT use 25-200mg of spiro/day and 1-10 of estradiol/day.
PLEASE COPY/PASTE. We need to start thinking about these kinds of seemingly little things, especially given how many of us are dependent on the ACA Medicaid Expansion."

Description
We exist because an amazing transwoman, #brynkelly refused to be anything other than herself & believed we need to be kind to each other. She was a badass, whipsmart Appalachian / Southern woman that knew how special our homeplace is, also how harsh a reality it's people can be. Our government is not even pretending to have our best interest at heart. Our friends, family and neighbors are voting not just our rights, but our safety away. Now more than ever, we must be kind to each other, help each other survive, with as much dignity as possible. Appalachia & the south's conservative rural medical community is already complicated to navigate for trans & gender nonconforming folks, under President Trump our sisters will need us now more than ever. #resistancethroughexistence #queerappalachia #ourmountainstoo #yallmeansall
