Description
This morning we welcome in the #fallequinox. #appalachianfolklore says to cut up fresh #persimmon #seeds in the fall to find out what kind of winter is ahead. Fresh from #tennessee, #persimmonspoons means we are going to have a hearty winter. I didn't need to do all of this, the streets of #charlotte #northcarolina soaked in blood & #rEvolution let's us all know #winteriscoming. As I cut these, it was not lost on me that Charlotte & #Ferguson are in our beloved region. Let's plant intentions of #community & #solidarity this Equinox and help each other through the winter. I promise we will be better for it in the #spring. #autumnalequinox #electricdirt #grannywitch #saytheirnames #blacklivesmatter #blm #notonemore #whitesilenceisviolence #thecivilwarneverended #wearestrongertogether #appalachianblacklivesmatter #whitesupremacykills #landofthefree #ferguson2charlotte #ourmountainstoo #queerappalachia
